I have a new exhibition of my paintings at the Curran Gallery at 1027 Queen St. East in the Leslieville Studio district, opening Friday, Sept 23. I’ll have some of my “Animology” paintings, a couple of early ones from my new series “Paintings on Painting”, and some others, such as the Donald Trump portrait shown below on the poster. I – and the other artists and musicians – will be at the gallery on Friday from 6 to 9 and on Saturday the 24th from noon to 8. The gallery also has me out front, painting a new piece. That will either bring in a crowd of passers-by, or scare them away! If you’re anywhere near The6, come and join the fun.
Meanwhile we’re completing work on my first piece of Neon Art. It won’t be ready for this show, but will be a part of the major “Paintings on Painting” exhibit I’m planning for 2017.
